Alexia Casale

Alexia Casale is a British American author, script consultant, and academic who writes for young adult and adult audiences and teaches on the MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University. Her debut YA novel, The Bone Dragon, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and has led to several acclaimed books for teenagers, while her adult fiction also explores sharp, inventive themes. Casale’s varied career includes editing, theatre work, and festival direction, and she brings her diverse experiences into her storytelling and literary advocacy.
