For Kids
Get InvolvedReading is Fun!

We believe that if you don’t already enjoy reading, you just haven’t found the right book for you. We’re here to help!
Once you do, you’ll understand that you can access an infinite number of worlds, inhabit many different characters and enjoy a life-time of experiences.
You can begin your search in a number of ways:
- Click on a front cover that you like the look of to read the kid’s review of it
- Select a reviewer and see what they’ve been reading (don’t forget to check their age at the time of the review)
- Narrow down your search using the filters (Category, Genre, Theme)
- Type in the title of a book you have heard about
- Check out our reviews of books by an author whose writing you already like
We hope Reading2Smile helps you to begin, continue or advance your reading journey – with a smile :)

Why not apply to join our panel of kids book reviewers?

Speed is not important. We have a range of books for dyslexic readers that are a bit shorter than most stories for your age.
Reading2smile has been designed to host spoken reviews but this option is not yet available. We suggest you record your ideas first and then transcribe your voice note into text (or, asking a grown-up to help you)!
That’s up to you. Some reviewers prefer to receive a surprise book in the post.
You can read as many or as few as you wish and can take a break at any time (for example when you have extra school work you could pause, or only review in the holidays)
You are unlikely to meet the author in person but they are usually very excited to read our reviews and often there is communication via social media
