Lauren Child
Lauren Child (born 1965) is a British children’s author and illustrator best known for creating the Charlie and Lola and Clarice Bean series. She won the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2000 for 'I Will Not Ever Never Eat a Tomato' and went on to serve as the UK’s Waterstones Children’s Laureate from 2017 to 2019.
