George Butler

George Butler (born 1985) is a British illustrator and reportage artist known for drawing scenes from war zones, humanitarian crises and social issues using pen, ink and watercolour. Over the years he has worked in many of the world’s most troubled regions — from Afghanistan and Syria to Ukraine and Yemen — creating intimate, on the ground artwork that captures the human side of conflict and disaster.
