Beatrice Alemagna
Beatrice Alemagna (born in Bologna in 1973) is an Italian author-illustrator known for her deeply imaginative children’s books. She studied at the ISIA school of graphic design in Urbino before moving to Paris, where she worked as a poster artist for the Centre Pompidou for over a decade. Her award-winning work—translated into dozens of languages—melds tender visuals with emotional storytelling, earning her international acclaim and multiple nominations for the Astrid Lindgren and Hans Christian Andersen awards.
