William Sutcliffe is a British novelist born on 9 March 1971 in London. He has written for adults, young adults, and children — with work ranging from satirical adult fiction to YA and middle grade novels — and his 2008 novel Whatever Makes You Happy was adapted into the Netflix film Otherhood in 2019
