Sibéal Pounder

Sibéal Pounder is a British-Irish children’s author, best known for her bestselling series such as Witch Wars and Bad Mermaids. She began her career as a journalist — writing for outlets including The Financial Times, The Guardian and Vogue — before turning to full-time children’s fiction writing. Her debut novel was shortlisted for major children’s book prizes, and she has since become one of today’s most popular middle-grade authors.
