Serena Patel is a British-Indian children’s author from the West Midlands, best known for her award-winning 'Anisha, Accidental Detective' series. Her writing aims to reflect the experiences of multicultural British and South Asian families, giving children from those backgrounds characters they can relate to — something she felt was missing in the books she read growing up.
