Pooja Puri
Pooja Puri is a British children’s and young-adult author who graduated with a first-class degree in English Language and Literature from King’s College London. After completing an MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, she published her acclaimed debut novel 'The Jungle' (2017), about teenage refugees in Calais, which went on to be nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal. She has since written several middle-grade books, including 'A Dinosaur Ate My Sister', 'A Robot Squashed My Teacher', and 'An Alien Stole My Planet'.
