Patrice Lawrence
Patrice Lawrence MBE, FRSL is a British author and journalist from Brighton whose work spans children’s, young adult, and adult fiction. Her award-winning novels—such as 'Orangeboy' and 'Eight Pieces of Silva' often explore themes of race, class, and social justice. Patrice is the Waterstones' Children's Laureate 2026-28.
