Moira Buffini
Moira Buffini (born 29 May 1965) is an English playwright, screenwriter, director, and actor, known for her sharp wit and politically engaged work. She has written acclaimed plays such as Dinner and Handbagged, and her screen credits include Jane Eyre and Byzantium. In 2025, she made her debut as a novelist with the YA dystopian novel 'Songlight', which won the YA Book Prize at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
