Lisa Thompson

Lisa Thompson is a British children’s author, born in 1973 and raised in Essex. She formerly worked in radio broadcasting (for BBC and later a production company), before publishing her first novel, The Goldfish Boy, at age 43 — a debut that became a bestseller. Since then, she has written several acclaimed novels and novellas, often praised for blending emotional depth with compelling, mystery-driven stories for young readers.
