K. L. Kettle
K. L. Kettle is a British YA author originally from Birmingham who now lives and writes in London. Her debut novel The Boy I Am — published in 2021 — was shortlisted via the 2018 SCBWI British Isles Undiscovered Voices competition and went on to be nominated for major awards, including the 2022 Carnegie Medal. Outside of writing, she also works in business/technology and runs a podcast and video series for writers called the Book Chain Project.
