Jennifer Bell

Jennifer Bell is a British children’s author who began her career working as a bookseller at the famed Foyles bookstore in London — a job that helped shape her understanding of what young readers enjoy. Her debut novel, The Uncommoners: The Crooked Sixpence, launched her into success, becoming an international bestseller and leading to a fantasy series beloved by many. Since then she has written additional series — including Agents of the Wild and Wonderscape — and now writes full-time, creating imaginative stories aimed at engaging children who might not think of themselves as readers.
