Hilary McKay is a British children’s author. After studying Botany and Zoology at University of St Andrews and working briefly as a laboratory scientist, she became a full-time.
Her books — including the beloved Saffy's Angel and The Skylarks' War — have earned multiple major awards and made her one of Britain’s most loved authors for young readers.
