Daniel Tawse

Daniel Tawse lives on the North East coast. He spent his childhood going on adventures in the wilds of Northumberland, and teenage years writing diaries about how much he didn’t fit in. Nowadays, Daniel turns those diaries into stories centred on growth, identity, and emotional discovery. He is an advocate for queer representation and visibility in the arts. His work often combines relatable characters with imaginative elements that resonate with teen readers. Through his YA fiction, Tawse explores the challenges of growing up with sensitivity and insight.
