Alexander McCall Smith
Sir Alexander “Sandy” McCall Smith (born 24 August 1948 in Bulawayo, now Zimbabwe) is a Scottish legal scholar turned globally beloved author. He is best known for his 'No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency' series set in Botswana, but his prolific work also includes children’s books, short stories, and academic writing.
