I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in make-believe, or likes to get completely absorbed into the storyline!
My favourite character in this story has to be Leonie because of her resilient personality and understanding of freedom. I loved how in the middle of the story she pushed through even though she was in pain as she broke the 1 mile rule.
If I described the story it would be: Magic, fantasy, blackmail. I love how the magical elements dramatically build up during the first few paragraphs.
I really enjoyed this book, it was very easy to read and caught my attention quickly (I would like it even more if Thomas Dragmar didn’t blackmail Leonie!)
I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in make-believe, or likes to get completely absorbed into the storyline! I believe the message of the story is – Never give up. Be resilient.

On the tiny magical island of Onske, Leonie is a Wishmaker. Her extraordinary gifts will soon be sold to a rich and powerful family. Determined to stay free, she runs away to the real world – our world.
Here she finds a new life and a new best friend, Cress. But Leonie’s old life is about to catch up with her. As enemies close in, her only way out is to grant a dangerous wish.
One that could tie her to Cress for ever .
