I liked the Titanic book because I had just recently finished learning about the Titanic. This book answered some of the questions that I had, and it explained to me why it is so famous.
My favourite facts were that the White Star Line and Cunard were big boat company rivals, and also that when the Titanic sunk they sent out an S.O.S and a ship heard it but they ignored it. It was not until another ship heard the distress signal that some survivors were rescued.
I really enjoyed this book because it was a fact file but it was written like a novel making it not like a book full of facts!
I would say that it is suitable for young teens because teens might have more chance of noticing the facts on this type of book.
It is a really good book, especially if you’ve got a project on the Titanic.

This book tells the tragic account of the building, and sinking of the magnificent passenger ship named ‘Titanic’. It is written by David Long and illustrated by Stephano Tambellini
On 10 April 1912, RMS Titanic set sail from Southampton on her maiden voyage to New York. This “Ship of Dreams” was the largest and most luxurious ocean liner in the world. It was claimed she was unsinkable. But four days later, when the ship struck an iceberg, the loss of Titanic and over 1,500 passengers would become one of the most infamous maritime disasters in history.
