The story is funny, the mixed fonts are engaging and the illustrations just bring the whole book together for an 8 year old
It is a story about music, parties and whistling. There was so much to like about this book, I don’t know where to begin.
The story is funny, the mixed fonts are engaging and the illustrations just bring the whole book together for an 8 year old. Tom was early for Leroy’s party but he managed to not ruin it for Leroy.
This book teaches the reader not to listen when grown-ups are talking in secret as you might ruin a surprise for you. It also shows the reader that you should never ask a bully to do something for you as they might use it against you in the future, telling you you owe them ‘big time’.
The cheeky pets caused chaos in ways that made me smile.
The book had me engaged from start to finish. I could not put this book down and once I started to read it, I couldn’t wait to finish it.

Norman’s told the whole school that DogZombies have a NEW SONG and a NEW LOOK for the BIG end of term party.
But the problem is they don’t.How can they be the best band when they will be up against Oakfield Manor school?
Will Tom make it to Leroy’s party on time? Is dressing as a dolphin with a blue face a good idea? And will Mum and Dad ever do a fun run again?
