Funny, amazing and entertaining is how I describe this story. Read this brilliant book!
This is the funniest book that I have ever read! My favourite part was the class captain’s only achievement being able
to burp the national anthem loudly. Also, I love the bit where the toilet flooded and the penguin pooped!
I would recommend this book to a person who likes reading about nasty and disgusting things. I was excited to read this book all the way through and I know my friends would love it. The pictures also made me giggle a lot and a few times I couldn’t stop laughing.

About the Book
If you aged aged 6-10 years old and like funny stories this is the right book for you! Written by Joanna Nadin with lots of black and white illustrations in a comical doodle style by Rikin Perekh.
According to head teacher Mrs Bottomley-Blunt, 4B is the WORST CLASS IN THE WORLD. She says school is not about footling or fiddle-faddling or fun. It is about LEARNING and it is high time 4B tried harder to EXCEL at it.
But Stanley and Manjit didn’t actually mean to flood the toilets when they should have been monitoring the playground. And they definitely didn’t literally mean to bring a penguin home from the zoo on their school trip. These things just happened even though they had a foolproof plan to get away with them.

Joanna Nadin (often credited as Jo Nadin) is a British children’s author and academic who has written over 80 books for children, teenagers, and adults. Her work includes the bestselling 'Worst Class in the World' series and the Carnegie-nominated middle-grade novel 'Joe All Alone', which was adapted into a BAFTA-winning BBC drama. She is also Associate Professor in Creative Writing at the University of Bristol.

Rikin Perekh
Rikin Parekh is a children’s book illustrator based in North West London. He studied art at Camberwell College of Arts and the University of Westminster and has worked in the film industry as a production illustrator before moving into children’s publishing.
