The fear, the love, the betrayal, and the realisation they were saved at the end shone through
This book had moments of fear, elation, and heart break. It was written so you were always interested in what happened next. I could not put the book down once I started reading it.
My favourite part was when Patticake took the handbrake off the car and saved them all, and the fact the night shadow who they were running away from ended up being their saviours.
The way the book was written you could nearly taste the water in the sewage, when they were washed away you could imagine how they felt without being there. The fear, the love, the betrayal, and the realisation they were saved at the end shone through.
The fact that Candi betrayed them to be with her own kind to then realise she needed her friends and she went back to save them, the way they worked together to get the food back and when the police horse saved them from the rats it all had you captivated in the story.
I would highly recommend this book to everyone.
About the Book
This book sees a devastating event happening in a town where there is a pet store where the owner tries to keep everyone safe but, in the end, needs to leave that’s when the story takes a turn. A group of animals who no one would think to put together end up having an adventure of their lives and end up turning wild.
