This book is book is full of fantasy that made me want to read more and be there with both Elizabella and Benjamiah to find what they have lost.

When Benjamiah is sent the doll it must have been challenging for him as he only ever believed in facts and science and then all of a sudden he is faced with everything he always thought was not real or possible.

I think the fact the doll or a poppet transforms into a capuchin monkey, a dormouse and a nightjar. I think I would like to find a magic door in a bookshop which would lead me into another world getting to live the adventures I read about although it might get a little scary.

When Benjamiah meets Hansel and he then takes him to Elizabella you can feel the pain she is going through trying to find her lost twin. I just hoped Benjamiah could fulfil his promise to Hansel of bringing Edwin home. At this point I could not put the book down being pulled into the story line every turn of the page.

There is some scary scenes and characters but there is also team work and goodness in their friendship.

This is a magical epic fantasy story which I highly recommend everyone to read.
