I loved the main character bean cat because he makes up exciting plans
Bean cat is a cheeky cat who has nine adventures, just like cats who have nine lives. This book is about one of those adventures. Bean cat wakes up as a pirate’s cat.
My favourite part was when bean cat and blue stole the keys off one-eyed Bart, I laughed because it was so funny.
I loved the main character bean cat because he makes up exciting plans.
Sometimes things do go wrong and it is very funny.
I really liked this book and I think children who like adventures would like it too.

Rob Biddulph
Rob Biddulph is a British children’s author and illustrator, known for picture books like 'Blown Away', 'Odd Dog Out', and the 'Peanut Jones' series. During the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, he launched the hugely popular #DrawWithRob series of draw-along videos, and even broke the Guinness World Record for the largest ever online art class.
