Book Review

If I could go to ROAR I would like to ride Draca because she is a cool dragon. I would also like to meet Arthur

I smiled when I received this because I loved the other ROAR books and this one was amazing too. If I had to describe this book in 4 words I would say ‘adventure’, ‘dragon poo and ‘magic’.

I laughed out loud when I read about ‘ancient witch farts’! There’s one new dragon and lots of new characters. The other dragons are the same as the other ROAR books.

Arthur and Rose’s parents think the dragon stories are fiction when they’re actually real. A dragon poos on Rose’s head and all of the students think it’s a gift/compliment. Win says “I can’t believe I’m scared of trees now” – you would understand if you had read the chapter about the trees that are controlled by magic.

The cover illustration is different to the illustrations inside the book because they’re by two different people. There are two different pictures of Pipsqueak. Next time I think they should be by the same person because I prefer the cover design.

If I could go to ROAR I would like to ride Draca because she is a cool dragon. I would also like to meet Arthur.

I think this review would make most sense if you’ve read the other ROAR books. If you like adventure, mystery and games coming true you will enjoy reading the ROAR series.
