Book Review

I recommend this book for those readers who love adventures, especially set in the future. I did not want it to end it was so good.

This is an adventure story that is set in the far future. It tells the story of Yared, who is the main character, Besa who is an electronic lioness and the Ibis who are trying to find Yared’s parents. They are chased by futuristic bad guys called the Werari. They also features an empire called Axum.

Overall, I would say it is a really great book.  I didn’t want it to end it was so good.

I recommend this book for those readers who love adventures, especially set in the future.

About the Book

Sci-fi and fantasy combine in this action-packed Afrofuturist adventure about a mythical Ethiopian empire from co-authors Mbalia and Makonnen.

Yared Heywat lives an isolated life in Addis Prime – a hardscrabble city with rundown tech, lots of rules, and not much to do. His worrywart Uncle Moti and bionic lioness Besa are his only family… and his only friends.
