Book Review

The pictures are bright and colourful and I loved each page

Theo’s opinion – What a funny book! I liked that noses were called mushrooms in the future. Noses do look like mushrooms! Also, it is really funny that every time we sneeze in the future we need to say ‘Forgive me Susan’ as my Mum is called Susan!

I now shout ‘Forgive me Susan’ every time I sneeze. Another funny thing in the future they say ‘You smell like a baby’ to say ‘Goodbye’. Everyone who reads this book has their own secret future language. The pictures are bright and colourful and I loved each page.

Mum’s opinion – We loved this book which delved into life in the future. It was amusing to see the sun called the moon and vice versa. It was an amusing book that made us laugh out loud and it was funny imagining people having a fish on top of their head to say thank you. The pictures are bright and eye-catching and will capture the attention of young readers.

About the Book

You might think you know what the future is like, and what words and phrases we use. But lots of things are different here in the future.

Have you seen the colour BLORANGE? You haven’t? And how is it you say “goodbye” again? It’s not “YOU SMELL LIKE A BABY?” Well . . . that might seem silly to you, but it’s absolutely normal for us in the future.
