The drawings in the book were really good and was a good break from all the words, every now and then.
I quite liked this book, but it would be even better if was a true story! My favourite character was old Winnie because I loved the name!
I thought the story was quite fun. I thought it was clever how the author had made a story about the war and that kids were involved in it.

I would give this book 8/10. I would describe it as a woeful, war adventure book.
