It's a nice easy read and the pictures are great
I loved the penguin characters. The story was really funny because they thought they were going on a a real holiday and got confused with time travelling.
The funniest bit was when the penguin went to cool in the water and went down and he was faced with the chomping looking dinosaur who wanted to eat him!
It was a good funny story having penguins on a sandy island. It is nice easy read and the pictures are great.
Mum: Haris really enjoyed reading this graphic novel, adding sound effects to the words and laughing out loud at parts which he shared with his brother Adam.

This funny graphic novel about two penguins on a prehistoric adventure is written and illustrated by Sheena Dempsey.
Pablo and Splash are polar opposites and besties for life. Pablo is a home-bird and a careful planner. Splash is easily bored and hungry for adventure. Sick to her flippers of the harsh, freezing weather, Splash persuades Pablo to go on a holiday with her. But far from the luxury beach destination that Splash has in mind, the pair end up in a time-travel machine that takes them back to the age of the dinosaurs!

Sheena Dempsey is an Irish children’s illustrator and author born in Cork. She has illustrated over thirty books—including the Dave Pigeon series by Swapna Haddow—and her debut graphic novel 'Pablo & Splash' was born from a penguin-themed webcomic she created during the pandemic
