It’s laid out in unique style because it combines text, diary entries, facts and images which I really enjoyed.
Lottie loves nature and looks up to Samira Breeze, the tv presenter of ‘Every little thing matters’, for ideas about helping the planet.
Lottie is kind, caring and is a good role model for anyone who likes nature.
The story is interesting because along the way it tells you fantastic facts like worms are invertebrates (no back bone) or how frogs talk. It’s laid out in unique style because it combines text, diary entries, facts and images which I really enjoyed. I like her pet dog Einstein because I love science, especially Albert Einstein!
It is a great fictional story for both young and old about looking after nature. I would recommend this book to those wanting to help the planet or people who want to learn from a fictional story.
It’s a page-turner!

Nature-loving Lottie decides to make a pond in her back garden to encourage local wildlife. She enlists her tech neighbour Noah’s help, but is distracted by Mr. Parfitt, his neat-freak, golf-mad dad, who is determined to rid his garden of ants. Can Lottie save the ants and the multitude of frogs who suddenly appear in Mr. Parfitt’s garden?
