Lockett & Wilde – The Ghosts of the Manor

I recommend this story to people who enjoy mysteries and friendly not too scary ghosts.
I enjoy reading Locket & Wilde’s mysteries a lot.
I really like that she can see ghosts. I also enjoyed when her uncle went under cover even though they found out. I really liked how under the chapter it says things like “chapter 1 in which the audience holds their breath” I find that really funny.
I really liked Baroness Beauchamp I thought she’s hilarious even though her character meant to be “a look down your nose person.” I also really liked Edgar Wilde because I really enjoy it when he says, “my pencil! “as he is a ghost and no one can see him, but they can hear him.
I loved the pictures they really made the story come to life.
I recommend this story to people who enjoy mysteries and friendly not too scary ghosts.
About the Book
Matilda Lockett is used to playing the role of Poor Dead Edna with her spirit-medium aunt, Signora Valentina, and theatrical uncle Barnabus – but when they all decamp to Beauchamp Manor to deal with a most dreadful haunting, she discovers she really can see ghosts!
There she meets ghost boy, Edgar Wilde, who shares her love of supernatural snooping, and together they set about unravelling the case of The Ghosts of the Manor the first in this series of mysteries illustrated by Pam Smy.
