Book Review

the story concept, illustrations and characters are amazing

I think “Locked Out Lily” is a great book; the story concept, illustrations and characters are amazing.

It’s a stunning thriller with beautiful black and white illustrations aimed at older audiences about a girl named Lily, who has a horrible illness, whose parents head to the hospital to give birth to the baby sibling Lily doesn’t want. They leave Lily with her grandmother but she leaves to go back to her own house and finds weird, unwelcoming beings that look like her parents but want her out of the house.

I think the best character is Lily because of her courage to overcome her fears.

It is a well-written and illustrated book that I would certainly recommend and rate five stars.
