My favourite character is Poppy because she wears cool and whacky outfits and is also very brave
I began reading this book on the plane during my 4 hour journey to Antalya. I like the way it is written as diary entries and isn’t too serious. I found the book was easy to read, and I whizzed through the chapters.
If I had to describe this book in 3 words, I would say hilarious, interesting and captivating.
My favourite character is Poppy because she wears creative outfits. She always sees the positive side to stressful situations and makes them feel like adventures instead.
I really liked the plot line because it’s soo cool how Lilly travels back in time to different periods in history and nobody knows.
Whilst the story was very interesting, I was a bit disappointed that there were no illustrations, (they help you to imagine what it was like back then).
I recommend this story to anyone who likes to learn about the past, because it illustrates how people lived in different centuries. If you enjoy adventures, lots of giggles and history then this book is for you! I rate it 10/10

My name is Lily, I’m 13, and I have a big secret: every New Year’s Eve when the clock strikes midnight, I time travel to a totally different era. Talk about inconvenient.
Luckily my cat, my best friend, and my not-so-secret crush always turn up, too. But why is my archnemesis, Georgia, so good at ye olde insults? How does anyone survive in ancient times without chicken nuggets? And why on earth can’t I stay in one century?!
