I am going to give this book to my friend who loves football
I read this story with my mum. This book is so good because it has got my favourite character in it, Johnny. He is my favourite character because he is the best football player in the game and his brother scored lots of goals.
This book is exciting because we don’t know if Tissbury Tigers will win the league and if the big boys will listen to Johnny. Beardy Jake made me laugh too.
The illustrations in the book were amazing and just like a cartoon. I liked the picture of the Tigers with their names so we could see who everyone was.
At the end of some chapters there was a match report which told us how the game had gone.
I am going to give this book to my friend who loves football because I know that he will like all the details about the matches and about the football skills.
