It was funny and shocking!
I enjoyed reading the book and found it easy to read. It was funny and shocking!
The ‘fail’ that was really bad was the one about the Hindenberg airship that was filled with hydrogen instead of helium. This meant that it was flammable and when it set off it crashed and 35 people died :-( .
The other revolting and amusing fail was in 1184. Henry VI arranged a meeting in Germany for important people. There were too many people in the room and the floor collapsed and they all fell into a pond poo- yuck!! Sadly, they didn’t survive.
I would recommend this book because it has lots of great facts and information.

History is full of daring deeds, mighty heroes and incredible inventions. But it’s also full of humongous FAILS!
From the Titanic lookout who forgot his binoculars or the astronaut who taped over the Moon landings, to the famous inventors who failed THOUSANDS of times before getting something right, the amazing scientists who ACCIDENTALLY invented life-saving medicines and the businesses that went bust and bounced back better – take a riotous ride through history and discover the epic fails that changed the world.
