There’s a surprising ending – it isn’t quite like the actual Greek myths
At first I didn’t think I would like this book but actually it was funny.
There’s a picture where someone called Natthew is being eaten and he asks whether the monster that is eating him wants to go to KFC with him! He always underreacts and is positive about anything, even being eaten. Another example is where he says ‘this isn’t ideal’ in a bad situation with dead spirits.
I’m not sure how much the real Zeus would appreciate being called ‘Zooey’! If anyone called him Zooey he would shout, scream and zap someone with lightning bolts just because he wants to! To be honest, he would do that anyway without anything happening to him.
The government are trying to lock Cerberus the hell hound in a dog prison. What I find weird is that a three-headed vicious dog guarding the gates of the underworld really likes honey cakes! Couldn’t the myths make it prefer something more vicious? Blood milkshakes maybe?

I would recommend this to anyone who likes the Loki books or adventures.

He has written and illustrated more than fifty books, blending magic, monsters and comic flair in stories for young readers.
