I love this book because it highlights the dark side of glass and the battles are enthralling
Glassheart by Katharine Orton is a wonderful book that hooks you in from the very start. It features a girl called Nona and her uncle, who fix stained glass windows. Then, mysteriously, they are called to an abandoned town in order to replace the windows of a ruined church…
I loved this book because it highlights the dark side of glass, when most people believe it to be purely beautiful. I loved the additions of spirits, unique creatures and extra mysteries to solve, which are scattered throughout the duration of the story. It has a thrilling plotline and exceptional characters that collaborate to create a nail-biting tale.
This book offers a huge range of feelings, from the calm of safety at home to the tense excitement of that you feel when you know something is about to happen.
There are plenty of edge-of-the-seat scenes, where you just keep guessing what is going to happen next. I was enthralled by the battles and challenges that are thrown at the characters at every turn.
