Book Review

If I had to describe this book in 3 words I would say frightening, adventurous and mind-blowing

I adore this book because it has some fantasy and frightening parts in it, for all the books I read this is by far the best.

If I had to describe this book in 3 words I would say frightening, adventurous and mind-blowing.

This book is about three daughters who go on a quest to find out who killed John Keats, a head boy who apparently dies of sickness, but when the daughters got to the school, he was still alive… but there were two little bite marks on his neck which meant he transformed, into a vampire.

Together the 3 of them try to find the vampire who did it, eventually more children come in the sick bay who have the same condition. But whilst the daughters are doing this their mothers are ejected from the city and had to move to Transylvania because they had been assigned to slay vampires, but they refused.

I recommend this story for anyone who likes fantasy. My favourite characters are William and Samuel, because they are especially helpful and never give up. To me the best scene in the book would be when the daughters are in the library and they save a boy, who’s friend is trying to kill him!

The message of this book is that we should always see the good in people instead of always focusing on the bad all the time.

About the Book

Dracula & Daughters are open for business.

Their mission: to heal vampires and keep the streets of Temstown safe.

Trouble is, the new Guildmaster is insisting the city is now vampire-free, and wants Dracula & Daughters to close.

But the undead are still lurking. After a string of strange events at the prestigious Poisonwood School for Boys, frightened pupils start holding vampire slaying lessons in secret.

It’s up to Mina, Buffy and Bella to convince them that slaying isn’t the answer. But when vampires are appearing by the classful, is it already too late?

The granddaughters of Dracula are about to have their healing skills firmly put to the test . . . And are reminded never to underestimate the undead.
