I think lots of my friends would enjoy the book too, especially if they like dragons.
This was a very different book for me to read. I liked the main character Grace because she was very brave and fierce which made me laugh. It was nice that she had lots of good friends like Portia and Bram to have fun with.
I didn’t particularly like the dragons in the story, because I am not a big fan of dragons, but I think lots of my friends would enjoy the book too, especially if they like dragons.
I was a bit confused as to why the rules were so strict preventing Grace from leaving the castle. I would get very bored if it was me and I was happy I did not have to live in that Kingdom where the girls were only allowed to do the boring stuff!

This fun, action-packed story suitable for readers aged 7-10 years is illustrated throughout in black and white by Sharon Davey.
Set in the magical world of Wondermere where rules should not be broken. It doesn’t take long before you meet the main wild, brave character named Princess Grace. Forbidden to leave the castle and the massive grounds, Grace spends many hours trying to find a way to escape.
Portia one of the princesses best friend is someone to keep her company on her adventures around the castle. With the main event of the year, Wondermere Day everyone is busy getting ready. This means that the princess is able to try and do things she shouldn’t do, one of them being trying on a suit of armour so that she and Portia look like two knights. It is not long before they both get into even more trouble.
With the help of another friend Bram, he gives advice to the Princess so she can follow one of her dreams to ride a unicorn, something which she has always wanted to do. It all seems to be going so well, but this doesn’t last long!
Determined is something which the princess can be relied upon to be, you will soon learn that Grace will never stop trying to prove that girls can do anything if they believe in themselves. Follow your dreams…
