It’s really easy to understand and the language is super funny
I just finished reading BobLand and I really loved it! The story is about Bob and he decides to create his very own theme park. How cool is that? I felt like I was right there with him, riding the rides and enjoying all the fun!
Bob is such a nice character. He has a really great personality and I liked how friendly he was. From the beginning of the book, I was hooked and the story just kept getting better and better.
The way the story is set up is awesome! It’s really easy to understand and the language is super funny. I found myself laughing a lot while reading. Plus, Bob has some great friends and family who help him make his theme park even better. It was nice to see how everyone worked together to help Bob’s dream come true.
Overall, I think Bobland is a fantastic book! If you like fun adventures and cool characters, you should definitely read it!
About the Book
Bob Grubb and his family live on a ramshackle smallholding backing on to the world-renowned theme park, Happey World, run by Arthur Happey and his dreadful granddaughter, Maisie. When Bob accidentally gets into Maisie’s bad books, he is banned from Happey World – FOR EVER.
What is an entrepreneurial boy to do? Build his own theme park in his back garden, of course! With the help of friends and family, BOBLAND is go!
But with Arthur and Maisie doing everything in their power to derail Bob’s plans, will they make it to the Grand Opening in one piece, where they are due to meet the king himself? And what is the big family secret that lurks beneath it all?

Matt Lucas is a British comedian, actor, writer, and television presenter best known for co-creating and starring in the sketch show Little Britain. He has also appeared in numerous stage and screen roles, including Doctor Who, Les Misérables, and as Nardole in Doctor Who. From 2020 to 2023, he served as a co-host on The Great British Bake Off, bringing his distinctive humor to the series.
