We would tell other seven and eight year olds to read this book, especially if they care about wildlife
We loved this book. We found the pictures cute and helpful as they showed us animals we’d never heard of and the gadgets were cool to see too.
Cassie’s favourite character was Attie the elephant shrew and Rowan’s was Marceline the fennec fox ninja. We also really liked Agnes. She has the same name as our great Nanny.
The book Marceline gave Agnes reminded Rowan of when Hagrid gave Harry Potter the book of his parents. The setting was very hot but exciting, but really very hot. We learnt that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and don’t just trust someone because they’re nice to you.
Also, that it’s good to make new friends and help each other in difficult times. We liked the message in the story that it’s important to save animals and people shouldn’t trap and sell them. We are vegetarian so we always try to help animals.
We would tell other seven and eight year olds to read this book, especially if they care about wildlife.
