The flaps were really cool to be able to see how things are different above and below ground and water
This was a beautiful book with really nice pictures. I enjoyed finding the animals and plants in the main pictures.
It was almost like a look and find book. I also learnt lots of things from this book about sea life. There were amazing facts on all the pages.
The flaps were really cool to be able to see how things are different above and below ground and water.
The writing was divided in small sections so it was easy to read and find information again.
It is definitely a book that I could look at again and again because there is so much detail in the text and the pictures. My favourite page was reading about the mangroves with the crocodiles. Crocodiles are one of my favourite animals!
Mums thoughts: I was impressed by the quality of this book. Hardback and thick pages means it’s perfect for younger children. There is so much information but well presented in short sections with clear headings and beautiful illustrations it would appeal to readers of all ages. An amazing asset for our bookshelves.

This is a superb non-fiction book for primary school children with interesting facts and stunning illustrations. Each page shows a scene that is visible on the surface and then, what is living underneath the surface is only revealed when you turn the half page.
Lift the lid on eight animal habitats to see the extraordinary natural stories that happen above and below the surface. From the rainforest to the ocean and the macro to the micro, lift the flap to explore the fascinating relationships occurring in each of the world’s ecosystems.
