this story is fast-paced and full of twists and turns.
‘Enter the End Game’ is the final book in the trilogy by Triona Campbell. This is why it was a bit hard for me to get into the story straight away.
The author does recap at the start though but I would’ve preferred to read the books in order. Nevertheless this story is fast-paced and full of twists and turns.
Asha Kennedy is on the run from Rock Enterprises headed by scrupulous and evil, Lydia Rock. They killed her sister, Maya and now have framed Asha for the murder of her friend. Maya and Asha helped create SHACKLE, a virtual reality game which infects and sometimes kills people.
At first Asha is on the run but then when her friends are in danger she realises she has to step into the enemy’s lair all the way in Singapore. Not only are her friends in danger, but so many people are infected and in danger.
I liked that the story was told through different character viewpoints.
About the Book
At the end of book two, Asha Kennedy (Lisbeth Salander for a new generation) uncovered the dark secret at the heart of Virtual Reality game ‘Shackle’ – You don’t play the game; it plays you – and was drawn deep into a dangerous world of corruption and greed: discovering the puppet master Lydia Rock and being betrayed by her mentor Jones in the most brutal way.
Now on the run with her love, Dark, Asha knows she’s entering the endgame: the stakes have never been higher and she’s playing to win.
Because to lose would mean the end of everything.
