Georgia probably sounded like she was hallucinating but at the same time
I felt bad for Wren at the beginning because her mom died when she was young and Georgia despised her at the beginning but towards the end they became friends, which surprised me.
I thought that a school setting is an unusual place for a murder to take place as school settings often have cameras and lots of witnesses. But in my opinion, a school isn’t an unusual place for an unofficial investigation to take place because most of the murder mystery books that I have read, were solved by teenagers.
I understood the adult’s point of view as Georgia probably sounded like she was hallucinating but at the same time, I think the adults should have investigated a bit before dismissing her theory. Even Georgia’s mom laughed at her…

The first book in a new murder-mystery school series set at Mayfield Academy from Sophie McKenzie, the bestselling author of million-copy-seller, Girl Missing.
It’s a week into the summer term, the last day of April, and murder is the last thing on my mind . . .
Life at Mayfield Academy seems normal enough – that is until Georgia discovers the drama teacher, dead, in the school library. Then, when she goes back to look for him, having gone for help, his body has vanished.
Georgia knows what she saw, but only her best friend Billy believes her.
Determined to find out what has gone on, Georgia and Billy hunt for evidence with new girl, Wren. But with friendship dynamics also at play there’s a lot more at stake than dead bodies. And it’s not long before it becomes clear that someone is prepared to go to any lengths to stop their investigation . . .
