The way it’s written almost makes the reader feel as if they are the detective
Kill Me Now by Helen Price is a thrilling murder mystery book set in a conservative town and it’s sixth form. Guy Mortimer is the funeral director’s son. Through the book he gets caught up in almost every murder done by the crosshair killers. Because of this Guy becomes the main suspect of the murders and is under investigation by police.
Each time I stopped reading, I felt myself wanting to keep going to find out what happened next – or who the murderer was. The way it’s written almost makes the reader feel as if they are the detective or another pupil at the school who’s also watching the murders occur.
Once I had finished it left me wanting to know more about the small town it is set in and what happened in the months following the murders.
I’d really recommend this book to lovers of murder mystery and to people like myself who are looking to branch out from their regular style of book as it contains something for everyone.
