I love mystery and this has made me like this genre even more
I really enjoyed this book and have been wanting to start to read books more like this as I love mystery and this has made me like this genre even more.
This book is about a girl who was murdered right before her biggest live show. Her sister and family were devastated and her sister, Stevie, felt the urge to uncover the real truth. The police were taking too long to do this so she started searching for things herself. With reporters everywhere it became a huge investigation that would not end until the real reason why was let out to everyone.
After starting to find out clues that lead to her sisters death, notes started to arrive in Stevie’s house, haunting things, telling her to stop looking for clues and to stay out of this mess or she will be next. But that didn’t stop her, she became more determined, and with help of her new friend, things started to reveal.
Stevie told her parents about the notes and they were terrified. Stevie and her friend searched many places and people to find out what really happened and the clues they had to uncover. When the truth is unveiled, she was so stunned thinking that it couldn’t, just couldn’t be who she thought it was but it turned out to be right. It was devastating and sad but she will never forget what the person did to her sister.
I think that this book should be for ages 13+ as it has some sad and gruesome moments. The moral of this story is that the truth is worth fighting for no matter what, even if it means confronting personal trauma and the complexity of family dynamics. Someone in life will always be there for you in the highs and the lows, don’t be scared to share things and seek help if you need that support. No-one will judge you for it as we are all human and all have our own difficulties, some greater than others.
I hope that whoever reads this book enjoys it as much as I did.

Global superstar Blair Baker rises high above the stage for the opening number of her hometown show. The crowd erupts in applause. Then come the screams.
For her sister, Stevie, Blair’s murder is more than a headline. And she will stop at nothing to uncover the truth.
