Welcome
Book Review
It is a lovely way to teach young children about how to get on with others, how we can all play and get along together despite us all being different
Welcome is a heartwarming story about friendship and acceptance. It is beautifully illustrated by Axel Scheffler with the distinctive woodland animals as well as a few others.
Isaac loved the story and seeing all the different animals. His favourite was the green frog as he was often jumping around. It is a lovely way to teach young children about how to get on with others, how we can all play and get along together despite us all being different.
It also teaches about how to say sorry if things go wrong in friendships. It is a fantastic book for this age where they are starting to learn about emotions and how to play with others and form friendships.
His favourite page in the book was the final part where all the animals were together that page was so bright and full of all the different animals together.
I can see it being a regular book to be read at nursery or primary school. Rating 10/10 from us.
