We enjoyed this creative book as it opened up our imagination
Theo’s opinion – I loved the ghost in this book, he was good at hiding in different places like between clothes and in the park. The ghost liked playing ‘hide and seek’ like me. He also enjoyed gardening. He also loves pizza and I do too. I like that Drew let the ghost go at the end. It was great to see that Drew had a different ‘Show and Tell’ than his friends. The pictures were big and colourful and I loved seeing the ghost and Drew doing a pizza ‘Cheers’. I had to look carefully to spot the ghost on some pages!
Mum’s opinion – This was a comical book, that made us laugh as Drew attempted to catch a ghost for an interesting ‘Show and Tell’ at school. The book goes through the different stages of ghost catching : ‘Find’, ‘Observe’ and ‘Catch’ . Drew uses a pizza trap to catch the ghost which is a clever idea but he is quite sad letting him go. The ghost leaves a little pizza left which is just enough to show his friends at school for ‘Show and Tell’. We enjoyed this creative book as it opened up our imagination in case we want to a catch a ghost in the future!

A charming and humorous tale about the new girl who is determined to stand out at show-and-tell by catching a ghost!
Sure, you can catch a GHOST, But can you catch a FRIEND?
Bringing nothing to show and tell is like wearing shoes without socks.
So, when all you got is nothing, you need to catch yourself a something.
And if you’ve got gumption, that something could be a ghost.
