I would read this book again because it is fun and perfect for Halloween time
I really liked ‘The Pumpkin Who Stole Halloween’ because it was funny and a little bit spooky but not scary.
The pumpkin thinks Halloween is all about him, and he makes me laugh because he is very silly and bossy. My favourite part is when the pumpkin causes trouble and everything goes wrong.
The pictures are really cool and colourful, and I liked looking at all the Halloween stuff like costumes and pumpkins. The story made me want to laugh and also made me think about being kind and sharing, even on Halloween. I loved the rhyming in the book too.
I would read this book again because it is fun and perfect for Halloween time. I think other kids would like it too, especially if they like pumpkins and funny stories!

The scariest pumpkin the world’s ever seen, Grew here on my windowsill, last Halloween.
It almost destroyed Trick-or-Treat as we know it.
Kind of my fault.
After all, I DID grow it.
When a boy’s pumpkin won’t stop growing and growing, he thinks he may have given it a bit too much of the Extra Strength Plant Food…
