I really enjoy joining in with the "see you tomorrow!" bit.
Dylan: I really like the book, especially the page that folds out with all the different animals on. I like how many frogs there are but I like the elephants best. I also really enjoy joining in with the “see you tomorrow!” bit.
Mum’s thoughts: It’s a really beautifully illustrated book and Dylan has picked it out to read most days since we got it. I like the repetition as it encourages Dylan to recite and join in with the words. It’s also great introducing him to bigger numbers than 10!

One day, a child meets a little bird and feeds it some breakfast. The next day, the little bird comes back with two pink-tailed mice, and the next day they are joined by four squirrels and then eight kind-eyed wolves and then sixteen elephants until eventually, one day, there are 255 animals to feed for breakfast!
But who, wonders the child, will make breakfast for me?!
